CW Renews 4 Dramas, Nikita and Hellcats are Undetermined

CW officially announced that they renewed 4 dramas, The Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, 90210, Supernatural and Americas Next Top Model

At the same time, Nikita, One Tree Hill and Hellcats are still undetermined.

8-year-old One Tree Hill is “undetermined” almost every year. But every time they got a renewal. I think this time will be the same, so do Nikita and Hellcats. Because Smallville ends at this season, this makes chances for CW’s new dramas. Even every show gets renewal, CW can arrange 2 more new dramas!

HBO Renew Game of Thrones at Top Speed

HBO Game of Thrones wins lots of attention. After its first broadcast, HBO renews its second season.

It attracts about 4.2million audience at its first broadcast. It's a very good record for HBO

According to Entertainment Weekly, the renewal seemed imminent because of the “big investment” HBO put into trusting the success of the show.

President of Programming at HBO, Michael Lombardo, said in an official announcement that, “We are delighted by the way David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have brought George R.R. Martin’s amazing book series to the screen, and thrilled by the support of the media and our viewers…This is the continuation of an exciting creative partnership."

The show isn’t the only one to be renewed after a short start. The heavily touted Boardwalk Empire was renewed after its premiere was viewed by 4.8 million people.

The show is based off the successful Songs of Fire and Ice fantasy books collection by George R.R. Martin.

Audience Rate Of The Killing Camelot and Brothers and Sisters

Latest TV Show of AMC The Killing second episode audience rate is still super! It attracts 2.6million people to watch. Comparing to its first broadcast, only declines 4% rate and successfully attracts most audience to watch it again.

Starz’s Camelot’s rating declines badly in second week, about 23%. It only attracts 0.85 million people to watch. But it’s a good record for Starz. Showtime’s The Borgia audience rating will come out tomorrow.

ABC’s Brothers and Sisters 2-episode broadcast only draw 6.5 million people to watch and had a low rating. It ranks the bottom of those shows. Does that mean Brothers and Sisters is going to end?

House MD Left Fox to NBC?

House MD producer NBC’s contract with Fox now is close to end. But until now we didn’t bring up a new contract. Till 15^th, April (End of the contract), House MD will stay in Fox or go to NBC, it’s hard to say.

Now their main difference is publishing right cost. NBC wants to remain the same (Fox takes the production cost and bonus) as well as renewing 2 years contract. But Fox wants to cut related cost because of audience rating declines and asks for only 1 year contract.

Now Hugh Laurie and Olivia Wilde confirm to be back at season 8. Robert Sean Leonard said publicly that he will not return. Excepting these 2 main roles, Lisa Edelstein, Robert Sean Leonard, Omar Epps, Jesse Spence and Peter Jacobson will negotiate their contracts after NBC and Fox. That means the season 8 House MD production time will delay!

Baldwin Said 30 Rock Will Not End This Season

NBC 30 Rock key actor Alec Baldwin said in an interview last days that 30 Rock will not renew after this season. Though 30 Rock film team said not, in order to minish the bad effect, Baldwin announced an statement:

I want to take the opportunity to state that although my days on network TV may be numbered, I hope 30 Rock goes on forever. Or at least as long as everyone involved desires.

Next year hopefully won’t be the last. Kenneth can run the network. Jenna will get her own talk show. Tracy will become Mayor of New York. Then resign to go raise exotic reptiles. And Lemon will go do…. just about anything she sets her mind to.

Here’s to five more seasons.

This is not the first time Baldwin discuss the future of 30 Rock in public. He told CNN last year his contract will finish in 2012 and he will leave then. But after that his spokeman said he didn’t have that plan. In 2009, Baldwin said he would be off this field and “has no interest in acting at all”.
